Background Information
Hauser is a deep dive in the concept of constructed typography, following after the first exploration with Maxeville Construct. Formed by basic geometric shapes; circles, squares and lines are repurposed in multiple characters. Resulting in abstract individual characters that become legible when paired together.
Built from repeating shapes on a fixed grid system, Hauser draws inspiration from the avant-garde architecture group Team 10; Structuralist- and later Metabolist architecture. Additionally Suprematism is a present theme when it comes to weights and compositions.
